A Jesus Penis History:
Since the decidedly grim year of 2001, Jesus Penis has spewed forth onto the masses an ever-evolving, yet consistently brutal body of work.
Throughout their near-decade of musical innovation, They have spawned countless imitators (*cough* Iron Bitchface *cough*), but no other act has come close to matching the sheer sensuality and emotion of a Jesus Penis rhythm.
With the core membership consisting of Lord deValter Mechani (Kyle Mark Waal), Golgotha GuntGuard (Kyle J. Marriott) & HamNugz HellHammer (Derek Hammer), they dealt with a notoriously unstable group of backing members. In spite of this adversity, Jesus Penis quickly tickled the guntstones of the underground music scene.
In the years since their legendary formation, the band has released a slew of ground breaking, paradigm-shifting recordings. This includes the seminal albums "Penis Butter & Jesus Sandwich", "Masturbation With A Bible/Genuflecting Jack-Off" and "A Jesus Penis Christmas". The debut album contained many songs now recognized as true classics by critics and fans alike - The singles "Scarecrows Hanging On A Meat Hook Cross" and "Skull Fuck (You Like A Sandwich)" were both simultaneous #1 hits in North America, Europe and Asia.
Always as attention-grabbing as they were controversial, the band inspired a great deal of merchandise - A 3 issue comic book run, t-shirts, a text based computer adventure and a ceremonial church burning were all presented in Jesus Penis' name. Despite keeping so busy, the band members still found time to create numerous side projects: Mechani would create the electronic solo act "DJ Mechani", while Golgotha and HellHammer would focus their talents on the band "Niggerswitch". Golgotha would then join "KyleKyleKyle" with Mechani as well as create the group "Abdominoperineal Resection".
After a bitter falling out between Jesus Penis mainstays Mechani & HellHammer, it looked to a devastated world like Jesus Penis would be no more. Then, out of the ashes, came a great Phoenix of Pious Phallus - Mechani & Golgotha would once again join forces to inflict good ol' Jesus Penis magick upon the eardrums of an unsuspecting public.
